LEGALIZATION OF DOCUMENTS AND CONSULAR CERTIFICATES

The Consular Service of the Embassy of the Republic of Congo in Germany provides document legalization services as well as the issuance of administrative certificates intended for nationals and users.

DOCUMENT LEGALIZATION

Legalization consists of certifying a document in order to grant it official value before the competent authorities. The documents concerned include:
– Civil status documents
– Diplomas and academic transcripts
– Certificates and declarations
– Administrative or legal documents

CONSULAR CERTIFICATES

The Consular Service issues, in particular, the following certificates:
– Nationality certificate
– Residence certificate
– Life certificate
– Certificate of celibacy
– Other consular certificates

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

For any request for document legalization or certificate issuance, the following documents are generally required:
– Copy of a valid identity document or passport
– Original document to be legalized or certified
– Photocopy of the document
– Proof of payment of consular fees

CONSULAR SERVICE HOURS

Submission and collection of files take place from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
